Top 8 Best budget resorts in Maldives

Read the blog

Looking for the best budget resorts in Maldives? We got you. The Maldives is a dream destination for any lover of sun, sea and sand. Almost nowhere in the world will you find such beautiful, azure, clear water as in the Maldives. Add to that pristine pearly white beaches with palm trees and you have an ultimate vacation destination. The best part, of course, is staying at one of those distinctive bungalows on stilts on the water. For the resort islands you have to dig a little deeper, but especially for you we have made an overview of the 8 best budget resorts in Maldives without compromising on quality!

Prices depend on the season!

The prices we mention below depend on the season. In the low season in the Maldives (May to November), it is a bit cheaper while in the high season (December to March) it can be a bit more expensive. The prices below are just an indication. Always check the price carefully during your booking. In addition, we recommend booking an all-inclusive option (or breakfast and dinner) everywhere. You cannot eat/drink anywhere else but on the resort island and it is usually relatively cheapest if you take the all inclusive version. Some resorts still require you to book a separate beverage package, so check that carefully.

What you need to know before you go to the Maldives

There is a big difference between local islands and resort islands in the Maldives. For example, local islands are a lot cheaper, but you will also find more high-rise buildings and you are only allowed to walk in your bikini on the special bikini beach. You will also find no alcohol on the local islands and, on the contrary, a number of mosques. Read here everything you need to know before you go to the Maldives, so you have a good preparation.
