The World Trippers
Hi there, nice that you want to know more about us. We are Leon & Noëlle. During our solo trip in Madeira we bumped into each other in our hostel. After a great time on the island, a spark was created in the Netherlands. We are both obviously travel fanatics and it turned out that our future plans are pretty much in line: explore the world. That is what we are doing since september 2022.
We started this blog under the name Wanderlustig. During our world trip, we noticed that we ran into more and more international people that we want to show our blog to, but it was only in Dutch. The name ‘Wanderlustig’ was not so easy and international. We decided to go international, take a new name which suits our travel lifestyle and make the website multilangual by translating it to English. And so The World Trippers was born. The World Trippers offers you travel tips from real world travelers out of a passion for travel.
On a world trip without a return ticket
Although our plans were largely the same, Noëlle actually wanted to travel full-time and Leon to combine working and traveling. Love overcame and together we found a way to make our plans come true: traveling around the world indefinitely!
During our world trip we work three days a week as freelancers for Dutch customers and four days a week we spend traveling, discovering new cultures, doing fun things and most of all enjoying what this beautiful planet has to offer us.

Leon
Hola: I’m Leon, a joyful adventurer and always looking for new challenges and fun and sporty activities. My passion for traveling started during my minor in China and backpacking trip through Thailand in 2016. There I already saw some digital nomads, here my dream was born: I wanted that too!
Now I am living this dream and enjoying traveling the world to the fullest. For The World Tippers I am the photographer and I edit the photos and videos. Furthermore, I do everything behind the scenes with my background as an online marketer. Think SEO, social media tracking and affiliates. I also design our website and create new features to build the most complete travel blog possible.
Noëlle
Hello there! I am Noëlle, an enthusiastic and driven girl who is always looking for nice places. When I was eighteen I spontaneously decided to make my first backpacking trip to Sri Lanka. Many declared me crazy and thought it was imprudent, but that typifies me: just go and I’ll figure it out there. It ended up being one of my best trips ever and this is where my love for travel was born.
For The World Trippers, I write all the articles and I make sure they stay up to date. I also write all Instagram captions. Anything text-related comes from me. This can sometimes be a challenge in a travel world that changes so quickly so be sure to let me know if something is out of date. Besides writing all the articles, I love figuring everything out for our trip: where are we going to sleep, how do we get from one place to another and what are fun activities.
