Read the blog

Le Pirate Island off the coast of Labuan Bajo in Flores is an island paradise for ultimate enjoyment. There are all these cute little beach huts on the island where you can stay overnight, and there are a number of fun activities organized. Snorkel with baby sharks and turtles off the coast, play a game of beach volleyball and in the evening watch a fun movie in the open air cinema. Relax completely at Le Pirate Island.

Le Pirate Island is located off the coast of Labuan Bajo, on the island of Flores in Indonesia. From Labuan Bajo the boat goes to and from Le Pirate Island once a day, which is all well organized by the hotel. This transfer is included in your reservation. In fact, you must book a room to visit Le Pirate Island. It is not open to day tourists. This is the location of the office and meeting point.

How much does a night at Le Pirate Island cost?

The cheapest “room” (read: hut on the beach), you can book from as little as €70 per night. This includes a delicious breakfast. It is not possible to book one night, because of the boat transfers. You must book at least 2 nights to stay on Le Pirate Island, but we recommend this anyway. In these 2 days you can really unwind and enjoy yourself to the fullest.

In addition to beach huts, you can also opt for the slightly more luxurious glamping tents. These have a private bathroom and even have air conditioning. For the glamping tents, you pay around €100 per night.

How is the food?

We really liked the food at Le Pirate Island. Especially the lunch, with every day a fresh salad you can make yourself, is really delicious. Dinner was a little bit disappointing for us vegetarians, if you compare it to what the people who ate fish or meat were served, but all in all it was fantastic.

We really loved our stay at Le Pirate Island. You immediately get that holiday feeling and completely relax. Check booking.com for prices and availability and book your stay right away, it’s popular and can sell out quickly! Then get information from Le Pirate Island about transfer times and where to report in the morning.

Labuan Bajo also has plenty of fun things to do. These include a day trip to Komodo National Park or diving with manta rays, sharks, turtles, seahorses and many more animals. Also read our blog: the 10 best activities in Labuan Bajo for more inspiration.
