Muay Thai training locations in Thailand

Read the blog

Muay Thai is a popular martial art in Thailand. The difference with kickboxing is that in Muay Thai you are allowed to use your elbows and clinch. Many travelers want to do some Muay Thai training in Thailand, and it is definitely recommended. At each training location, they have trainers who can teach beginners well. In this article, we share all the Muay Thai venues in Thailand.

What will you learn at a beginner’s Muay Thai class?

As a beginner, you will first learn the technique of the punches. The jab and the cross are the best-known punches. These are then followed by elbow strikes. Once you get the hang of this you will begin pedaling. For this, you get to wear shin guards. The great thing about the training is that you learn the technique well, but you are also tested physically. For example, you often have to do various strength exercises in between and the workout ends with a spirited round of as many punches and kicks as possible.
